Ron Zacapa Reserva Limitada is an intensely flavored smoked rum.
Zacapa Black Edition is a smoked rum with an exceptionally intense flavor, the result of combining different rums aged between six and twenty-five years. This rum undergoes a second maturation process in American oak barrels, inspired by the distinctive natural elements of Guatemala, such as the fire of its volcanoes and the cultural richness of the Mayans.
Its distillation occurs at an altitude of 2300 meters above sea level, in what is known as the 'House Above the Clouds', where each stage of the process is carefully supervised by Master Rum Maker Lorena Vásquez, known for her skill. in the creation of rums with unique character. Zacapa Black Edition offers marked notes of wood and spices, presented in an elegant and stylized bottle, enhanced with the distinctive petate, a palm mat typical of warm climates.
Since 1976, the brand has been present in Guatemala, collaborating with disadvantaged communities to create new income opportunities, and currently, more than seven hundred women participate in the manufacture of the duffel bag, an authentic symbol of the country's identity.
