Tarima Espumoso is a sparkling wine produced by Bodegas Volver and protected under the Alicante Designation of Origin with Moscatel de Alejandría and Merseguera grapes.
This vintage is classified as excellent. Characterised by drought, despite a milder than usual summer, some good spring rains led to a long ripening period that produced top quality grapes.
The Tarima vineyards are located between the Sierra de Salinas, Sierra de Umbría and Sierra de La Sima, at an altitude of 600-750 metres. The grapes for this wine come from a total of 20 hectares of vineyards planted between 1960 and 1970. All grow in the "vascular" system under natural conditions. The chalky soil and very poor organic matter give very low yields.
Floral and fruity notes, slightly sweet, good minerality underneath the fruit, with a fine and persistent bubble. Drink as an aperitif or with a simple fruit dessert.
