Tomás Postigo Crianza 5º Año is a red wine from Ribera del Duero produced by the Tomás Postigo winery.
Most of the grapes come from vineyards located more than 900 metres above sea level. The soil is predominantly chalky, clay-sandy with medium-sized stones and pebbles. All grapes come from herbicide-free vineyards and all treatments are organic. It is made in the winery and the grapes are moved by gravity, without pumping.
It has a deep garnet red colour.
On the nose it retains many red nuances of ripe fruit (red berries, plums, cherries), accompanied by smoky, spicy and balsamic notes that make it fresh.
In the mouth it is smooth, ample, tasty and balanced. The finish is reminiscent of ripe fruit, spices and toasted wood.
