More than twenty-five years ago, Javier San Pedro Rández and Ana Ortega founded Bodegas Vallobera, breaking with the family tradition of grape growers to bottle their own wines.
Initially marketing young wines, in 1992 they gave a boost to the winery by aging their wines, resulting in the first Vallobera crianza of 1992, thus marking a milestone in the quality of their products.
