It has been possible thanks to the perfect preservation of the original documents that the historical archive of the winery treasures. This work has allowed the recovery of the label and original brand, which was already commercialized in the NINETEENTH century, for the design of the new Vermouth of González Byass.
In addition, "the Cup" was the iron with which was marked the cattle of the Marquis of Torresoto and the elegant horses three bloods, Anglo-Hispanic-Arabs, that his younger son, Fernando, developed later.
Vermouth the cup has been elaborated from noble Soleras of odorous and Pedro Ximémez over 8 years , along with a careful selection and combination of botanicals such as wormwood, savory, clove, orange peel, cinnamon, nutmeg, angelica and Quina.
The uniqueness of the wine and the exoticism of aromatic herbs and spices make this classic aperitif a unique personality at a time when "the time of the Vermouth" has become an avant-garde ritual. Vermouth the cup arouses a deep flavored aroma where subtle notes of clove and cinnamon are harmonised, in a very balanced way, with the rest of spices. In the mouth stands out, together with a slight bitterness, its softness and elegance reminiscent of its Jerez origin.
