In 2016, 20 farmers founded Almendrehesa to improve their situation and that of their territory threatened by desertification, depopulation, climate change, erosion, and loss of biodiversity.
Currently, more than 50 farmers are part of this initiative, totaling more than 2500 hectares of cultivated land.
They focus on the commercialization of organic and regenerative agriculture products, mainly nuts.
