Algueira Escalada is a white wine with Denomination of Origin Ribeira Sacra, carefully produced from 100% Godello grapes. Vinification is done without temperature control, using indigenous yeasts in chestnut and French oak barrels. Through a gentle battonage technique, the Godello is enveloped in its lees until the end of fermentation. This process grants the wine a pale gold color and a movement in the glass that suggests body and density. On the nose, dairy notes blend with aromas of orange blossom, fennel, and pastry, leading to a dense palate with good acidity and persistence.
