Alvar de Dios Les Vidres 2020 is an exceptional white wine that captures the essence of the terroir from the Arribes del Duero region. This wine originates from a unique vineyard in Villadepera, spanning only 0.6 hectares, where century-old Doña Blanca vines thrive on volcanic soils rich in slate and quartz, imparting an unparalleled minerality to this drink. The winemaking process follows a minimal intervention philosophy; after direct pressing, fermentation occurs spontaneously using native yeasts. Subsequently, the wine matures for 12 months in used French oak barrels. This aging results in a creamy texture and aromatic complexity that does not mask the fruit's purity. Its limited production ensures that this wine is highly sought after, ideal for pairing with gourmet dishes or enjoying on its own. The tasting experience begins with a brilliant golden-yellow color. On the nose, intense aromas of ripe white fruits, citrus such as grapefruit and lime, along with floral and mineral notes, are appreciated.
