Billecart-Salmon Brut Nature with case is a champagne blend of 30% Pinot Noir from Montagne de Reims and Grande Vallée de la Marne, 30% Chardonnay from some of the best Crus of Champagne and 40% Pinot Meunier from the Vallée de la Marne and the southern slopes of Epernay.

Billecart-Salmon Brut Nature with case is a champagne blend of 30% Pinot Noir from Montagne de Reims and Grande Vallée de la Marne, 30% Chardonnay from some of the best Crus of Champagne and 40% Pinot Meunier from the Vallée de la Marne and the southern slopes of Epernay.

Vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks, with 50% and 60% of the blend composed of reserve wines. Aged on the lees for 48 months with no added sugar.

Billecart-Salmon Brut Nature tasting notes

A lush mousse lingers on a pale straw-coloured background tinged with pale gold that is threaded by an ultra-fine and very persistent lacing.

Aromas of baked bread and yeasty lees fill the nostrils, with notes of citrus and pear also present. Subtle notes of toast and toasted almonds.

Flavours of yeasty baked bread and citrus are sculpted and taut. Characterful toast, chalky notes and toasted almonds round out the second half. Finishes very dry and crisp with a chiselled feel and a long aftertaste.
