It is a sparkling wine made from "Glera" grape hand-picked from Valdobbiadene, a very picturesque area located just below the Veneto Alps and providing the ideal climate for cultivation. The result is a very high quality wine.
The gold-colored metal bottle defends the wine from light, preserving its aroma and freshness and giving a longer life. In turn, it represents the golden tiles that decorate the famous Basilica of San Marco.
The bottle is treated with fire to remove all kinds of impurity. Then it is bathed with molten metal that adheres to the outside of the glass giving a surprising metallic look. This whole process is done in a handcrafted way.
Bottega Gold Spumante is bright straw-yellow, fine and persistent pearl.
In the nose is refined, notes of green apple, pear and citrus in harmony with the aromas of white flowers, acacia, glycine and Lily.
On the palate it is soft, harmonious and elegant. With a body and a balanced acidity but at the same time vivacious.
Excellent as snacks and cocktails. Especially ideal with starters, first light dishes (shellfish, pasta and risotto), steamed or raw fish dishes, grilled white meats, stew or fresh vegetable dishes.
