Cosme Palacio 1894 White, (D.O. C) rioja. Raised for 7 months in French oak barrels of 500 liters, with a variety of a Malvasia and Viura is a wine enveloping, fleshy and alive due to its freshness contributed by its balanced natural acidity providing a myriad of sensations.
Was characterized by a good general evolution of the vineyard throughout the vegetative cycle. There are some climatic incidents such as high rainfalls located from November to February, as well as a hail storm at the end of May. During the harvest highlights the mid-September rains that slow ripening and propitiate the alcoholic and phenolic balance of the grape, resulting in a quality harvest.
Cosme Palacio 1894 white is golden yellow, clean and shiny. It is the pure expression of the old Viura vineyards in the Rioja Alavesa, whose roots sink into calcareous clay soils. Its tear is quite dense and points to a creaminess that we perceive both in the nose and in the mouth; It's a white wine with body and volume. Elegant bouquet with notes of white flowers and fruity (citrus) tones well assembled with a noble wood. Great texture and huge tour. Glyceric and with a freshness (natural acidity) that surprises leaving a tasty and ample mouth end. With a great personality, elegant and natural. A unique wine.
