Lalume is a distinguished white wine from the Ribeiro Denomination of Origin, created by the renowned Bodegas Dominio do Bibei. This wine is unique as it solely uses the Treixadura grape variety, sourced from vineyards aged between 10 and 30 years, located in the rich and varied soils throughout the picturesque Valleys of Avia, Arnoia, and Miño. Lalume stands out for its meticulous aging process, which includes aging in 600-liter barrels and Austrian foudres of 1,200 and 2,400 liters, as well as ovoid concrete tanks and 2,000-liter stainless steel tanks. After this complex aging, a portion of the wine rests in a 10,000-liter stainless steel tank in contact with fine lees, contributing a particular texture and distinctive aromatic profile.
