The Légende Saint Emilion 2018 is a wine made by Bodegas Domaines Barons De Rothschild, belonging to the Saint Emilion Denomination of Origin. Composed of Merlot and Cabernet Franc grapes, it is produced using traditional Bordeaux methods. The grapes are destemmed and fermented in stainless steel tanks at 30ºC, followed by an extended maceration to extract tannins. After malolactic fermentation, 40% of the wine is aged in French oak barrels for 12 months. This process results in an impressive crimson-red wine with violet reflections, an elegant nose of toast, vanilla, blackberry, and licorice. On the palate, it is broad and smooth, marked by velvety tannins and persistent fruitiness. It is ideal for enjoyment at 15º to 17ºC and can be kept for 5 to 6 years.
