Thibault Liger-Belair is an iconic Côte de Nuits grower who has also acquired a number of parcels in Beaujolais, in the Moulin-à-Vent appellation. The grapes for this "La Roche" cuvée are grown in shallow soil on pink and white sand. The vines here were planted between 1920 and 1945. The limited yields lend this cuvée good concentration and a highly refined body. Ripe cherry aromas and a lace-fine palate elevate the wine as a whole.
