Luxardo Kirsch is a liqueur made by distilling the juice of a species of wild cherries produced in the Black Forest of Germany. For its production, the cherry has been previously completely crushed, including the skin, pulp, and pit. It is a liqueur with a very high alcohol content. It is consumed chilled in a brandy glass or small glass and is highly recommended for making various cocktails. In certain regions, it is also served at room temperature and warmed with the hands, like brandy. It is a classic for cheese fondues.
