Following traditional procedures and after manual destemming, the grape passes to American oak Vats where they remain 6 months.
Aged 24 months in French oak barrels (80%) and American (20%) With gravity racking and newspapers. Clarification with fresh eggs.
It rests a minimum of 12 months in the bottle before leaving the cellar.
Muga Special Reserve selection is of intense and bright dark ruby colour with garnet edges. It is of high layer and slow and dense tear.
Of high intensity, it is complex and elegant. It highlights a fragrant, suggestive and expressive ripe red fruit, accompanied by a wide range of sweet and saucy spices. When opened, smoked notes, intense toast and animal memories.
