Net weight:

Japanese whisky, 70 cl and 45% vol., made with 100% malted barley in Coffey stills at Miyagikyo. Matured in refill and first-fill American oak, it offers a creamy, indulgent profile with notes of ripe fruit, vanilla, toffee and spices. Serve at 16-18 ºC.
Nikka Coffey Malt 70cl is a Japanese whisky at 45% vol., made at the Miyagikyo distillery in Miyagi prefecture. Nikka was founded by Masataka Taketsuru. It is produced with 100% malted barley in traditional continuous Coffey stills, imported from Scotland in 1963. This process, unlike batch distillation in pot stills, results in a dense, oily and indulgent profile. It matures in American oak casks, both refill and first-fill. It has a golden amber colour with copper highlights. On the nose it combines ripe pear, flambéed banana, mango and orange with vanilla, toffee and spices. On the palate it is creamy and velvety, with notes of apple tart, white chocolate and malt, and a medium-long finish with toasted coconut and acacia honey. The bottle is highlighted with 93+ points in Ultimate Spirits Challenge. It is recommended to serve at 16-18 ºC in a Glencairn tulip glass or rocks glass, with an ice sphere. It is also suggested for a Coffey Manhattan or Old Fashioned, paired with dark chocolate with fleur de sel, apple tarte tatin or aged Gouda.
