Parada de Atauta is a red wine from the D.O.C Ribera del Duero, produced by the winery Dominio de Atauta. This wine aims to showcase the concentration and complexity of the grapes and vineyards in the region, while remaining accessible to all palates. The production of Parada de Atauta involves a careful selection of very old vineyards situated on sandy soils with pebbles, which promote optimal ripening and greater fruit intensity. The wine is made in concrete and stainless steel tanks, with malolactic fermentation occurring in wooden vats. Parada de Atauta is then aged in barrels for 12 months, granting it an ideal balance between freshness and structure. In terms of tasting notes, Parada de Atauta exhibits an attractive cherry color. This wine is delicate yet powerful, with aromas of red and black fruits, as well as balsamic notes reminiscent of licorice, cherries, and mocha. On the palate, it is fresh and luscious, with a good concentration of ripe red and black fruit that enhances its character.
