Paramos de Legaris is a red wine produced by Bodegas Legaris with Tempranillo grapes in the Ribera del Duero DO.
As its name suggests, it comes from three moorlands located in the most emblematic and persecuted areas of the Ribera del Duero appellation, with the majority Tempranillo grape being the one that highlights its personality. Páramos de Legaris shows the extreme character of Tempranillo grown at high altitudes, located in Pesquera de Duero, from 867 to 894 metres above sea level; in Peñafiel, at 890 metres above sea level; and in Moradillo de Roa, from 958 to 973 metres above sea level.
Aged for an average of 9 months in French and American oak barrels, the result is a mature and balanced wine, silky and with intense aromas of red fruit. Limited edition wine.
Appearance: Intense cherry red colour with violet hues.
Nose: Intense aromas of red fruit, which predominate over the toasted notes from its time in oak barrels.
Palate: Fresh, tasty and with silky, round tannins.
