Borsao Tres Picos 2020 is a prominent red wine produced by Bodegas Borsao, located in the D.O. Campo de Borja. Since 1981, this winery has focused on producing high-quality wines, using sustainable viticulture and deep knowledge of the winemaking process. This wine is made 100% from Garnacha grapes, which are known for their fruity character and adaptability to different climates. The production process includes a maceration of 20-25 days, followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures between 25°C and 30°C. This approach highlights the full potential of the grape, creating a wine with a great concentration of flavors and aromas. After fermentation, Borsao Tres Picos 2020 undergoes aging for 5 months in new French oak Bordeaux barrels, which allows it to integrate wood flavors that complement its fruity profile. In tasting, it shows an intense cherry color with violet reflections, aromas of ripe red fruits and floral notes, as well as flavors of blackberry, plum, leather, and vanilla on the palate, all with a sweet and silky tannin. This wine is best served at a temperature of 17°C and pairs well with meat stews, Iberian cold cuts, and dishes with blood sausage and crumbs.
