Corimbo 2018 is a wine made 100% from Tinta del País (Tempranillo) grapes. This quality red wine is produced by Bodegas La Horra, located in the Ribera del Duero Denomination of Origin. Although it is a young project in its first lifecycle, it has received praise from international critics. The grapes come from vineyards about 20 years old, harvested from the La Horra and Roa (Burgos) sites. Corimbo 2018 is made in wooden vats and stainless steel tanks, undergoing 14 months of aging in both French and American oak barrels. The wine presents an intense cherry-red color with a red rim. On the nose, it has good intensity with notes of red and black fruits, such as cherries and blackberries, complemented by a subtle hint of wood that adds a pleasant creaminess. On the palate, it is voluminous with well-ripened fruit that maintains its freshness thanks to fine tannins promising evolution towards smoothness. Corimbo 2018 is an excellent companion to legume stews and grilled meats. It is recommended to be served at a temperature between 16 and 18 ºC to enjoy its best characteristics.
