Señorío de Cuzcurrita is a distinguished red wine produced in the Denomination of Origin Rioja by Bodegas Castillo de Cuzcurrita, located in the highest area of Rioja Alta. This wine is made exclusively from Tempranillo grapes sourced from old vineyards, focusing on integrated production with a percentage of organic farming. The production includes meticulous manual harvesting, followed by alcoholic fermentation. The wine is then transferred to fine-grained French oak barrels, where both malolactic fermentation and aging for 12 months take place. Additionally, the wine rests in bottle for a minimum of 24 months before reaching the market.
In terms of tasting notes, Señorío de Cuzcurrita presents an attractive, well-covered picota purple color. This wine is recommended to pair with roasted red meats, game, roasted lamb, legumes, small game, as well as grilled red meats and roast pork. To fully enjoy its qualities, it is suggested to serve at a temperature between 16 and 18ºC.
