Ron Barceló Imperial is a premium rum from the Dominican Republic.
The Barceló & Co distillery was founded in 1930 by Julián Barceló, who was born in Mallorca. In 1980, Miguel Barceló created Barceló Imperial.
Ron Barceló Imperial is made with great attention to detail to obtain a perfect blend of flavors and aromas that involve the finest alcohols. Two decades after its launch, it was awarded by the prestigious Beverage Testing Institute of Chicago as the best rum in the world, being the first rum to receive the highest score, 97 out of 100 points.
Appearance: Ron Barceló Imperial has an amber color, with attractive coppery edges, bright and crystalline.
Nose: Aromas of ripe tropical fruit with distant notes of raisins and figs. Dried cherries, intense vanilla, pineapple jam, and caramelized nuts.
Palate: On the palate, it is balanced, warm, and full-bodied. Long, smooth, and aromatic aftertaste. Invites you to have another sip.
