Viña Tondonia Reserva is an exceptional red wine created by Bodega López de Heredia, founded in 1877. This wine is a blend of 75% Tempranillo, 15% Garnacha, and 10% Graciano and Mazuelo. It's from the 2001 vintage, rated excellent. The grapes were harvested from about 154 hectares. The winemaking process included 6 years of aging in barrels, followed by bottle aging, all done without filtering. This wine has a brilliant ruby color and presents fresh and toasted aromas with hints of vanilla. On the palate, it is dry, smooth, and round, perfect for pairing with meats and cheeses.
