"Torno" Crianza 2020 is a red wine from D.O. Rioja, crafted by the renowned winery Hacienda El Ternero. This winery is set in an exceptional environment in Burgos, within the DOCa Rioja, making it one of the few wineries in Castilla y León with this designation. With 100% Tempranillo grapes, this wine offers a unique experience as the grapes are grown at 650 meters altitude, on soils of pebbles, limestone, sandstone, chalk, and clay that contribute freshness to the wines. The harvest is done manually, carefully selecting the grapes, which are then fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. For 12 months, the wine rests in second and third-use French oak barrels, adding complexity and balance to its fruity profile. Tasting notes reveal its bright cherry red color, aromas of ripe red fruit with a touch of spices and hints of vanilla. On the palate, it is tasty and balanced, with soft tannins and a long finish.
