Viña Sastre Pago Santa Cruz 2022 is an exceptional red wine from a single plot in Ribera del Duero, specifically from Pago de Santa Cruz in La Horra, Burgos. This wine, made from 100% Tinta del País, comes from old vineyards approximately 80 years old, giving it great concentration and character. The harvest is manual and done in small boxes, ensuring careful selection of the grapes. After fermentation, the wine is aged for 18 months in 100% new American oak barrels, enhancing the depth and complexity of the flavor. With an intense cherry-red color, it presents complex aromas of red fruits, spicy notes, and hints of wood.
