We decided to take this path with the desire to fulfill a dream, to share with everyone the experience inherited from a long family tradition.
The challenge of creating Marcelino Ibericos arises from the restless spirit that Marcelino transmits, he, with the smile that he draws on his face when he talks about his pigs, transmits his essence and enthusiasm to this project, today, at 84 years of age He gets up every morning at half past six to travel the 156 kilometers that separate his home from the beautiful Dehesa Boyal and there he personally coordinates all the work, care and attention that his Iberian pigs receive.
Influenced by the spirit of his joy and his drive, we, his children, have been fully involved to achieve the goal of turning his dream into reality, to make tangible, that dream that we rarely imagine.
In this family, we have always been united by work and continuous effort, we have spent our whole life celebrating enjoying these traditions and now we want to share these delicacies with you.
All the processes that we follow in the elaboration of our Iberian products are totally artisanal, from the raising of the pigs in freedom, passing through their feeding of our own milling of wheat and barley, the Acorns of the montanera era that they offer the flavor so characteristic of Iberian products, until the final seasoning of the meats before curing. Everything follows a home-made process like that of before, that of our grandmothers.
