Bardos High Altitude Vineyards

Bardos High Altitude Vineyards is a red wine born from extreme vineyards located at over 950 meters above sea level in Soria. It is primarily made from Tinta Fina, with small amounts of Albillo Mayor and Garnacha Tinta. These are old vines, with low production, planted in sandy soils with fine gravel and iron-rich clays, in a wooded environment that adds freshness and complexity. The result is an intense, balanced, and deeply expressive wine.

Tasting Notes:Visual: Very bright cherry red, with purple hints and a high intensity.
Aroma: Very fresh and full of complexity, with fruity notes and a spicy background that adds depth.
Palate: Very pleasant, with a velvety and mature tannin. The acidity integrates with the density, creating a perfect balance. In the aftertaste, the freshness of the fruit returns.

Production:
Manual harvest between September 29 and October 18.
Fermentation and gentle maceration in 15,000 kg tanks at 18 ºC for two weeks.
Malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks.

Aging:
12 months in oak containers of various sizes: 225 L barrels, 600 L butts, and large capacity tanks.

Pairing:
Ideal with red meats, stews, light game, cured sausages, mushroom dishes, and traditional casseroles. It pairs very well with flavorful recipes and spoon dishes.

Alcohol content: 14.5% Vol.
