Bouza do Rei Albariño is a varietal white wine made by Bodegas Bouza do Rei in the DO Rías Baixas. The Albariño grapes come from vineyards in the Valle del Salnés, where the Atlantic influence and granitic soils create fresh and aromatic wines. Harvesting is done at the optimal time, and fermentation occurs in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. It has a pale yellow color with greenish reflections, and an intense nose with aromas of white fruit, citrus, and floral notes. On the palate, it is fresh and balanced, with lively acidity and a silky texture. The finish is long and saline. It pairs well with seafood, fish, rice dishes, sushi, and Mediterranean cuisine, best served between 8 and 10 ºC.
