Can Matons the Vinya of Can Xec is an organic white wine from the Alella designation of origin. Produced by Can Matons, this wine exclusively uses Pansa Blanca grapes from a 4-hectare plot planted in 1999 in Montornès del Vallès. The soil, consisting of gravel with slate and red clay, contributes to its uniqueness. The harvest is carried out by hand, followed by a 5-hour skin maceration. The bunches are pressed whole, and the must ferments slowly in 300-liter French oak barrels and oval cement tanks. This process aims to give the wine complexity without losing the essence of Pansa Blanca. The result is a white with remarkable volume and personality, offering a rich aromatic palette of ripe fruits, flowers, herbs, and mineral notes. On the palate, it is broad, fresh, with good texture and a distinct Mediterranean character.
