Josep Grau Vespres
Vespres is a red wine that originates from vineyards aged between 35 and 50 years located in the municipality of Marçà, in the heart of Montsant. Made with a careful selection of Garnacha and Cariñena, this wine stands out for its absolute respect for the fruit and the terroir. It undergoes aging for about 9 months in 2,000-liter wooden foudres, a method that allows the wine to breathe and gain structure without the wood overshadowing its natural freshness. On the nose, it is intense, with notes of ripe red fruits, floral touches, and a very characteristic minerality. On the palate, it is silky, balanced, and has a vibrant acidity that makes it very food-friendly. It is the ideal companion for Mediterranean cuisine, grilled meats, and sheep's cheese.
