Xic is a young, organic white wine made entirely from the Xarel·lo variety. It comes from selected vineyards in the central Penedès, cultivated under the principles of organic farming. The aim of this wine is to showcase the freshest, most honest, and direct expression of the variety, without wood interventions. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, followed by a brief resting period on its fine lees to add volume without losing its varietal profile.
In the glass, it presents a pale yellow color with greenish reflections, very clean and bright. On the nose, it is straightforward and intense, highlighting aromas of white fruit (green apple, pear) along with herbaceous notes of fennel and a very refreshing citrus touch. On the palate, it is a wine with nerve, with a fresh entry and very well-integrated acidity. It has good structure, and the aftertaste is long, leaving a clean and slightly mineral sensation. It is ideal for pairing with Mediterranean cuisine dishes, complex salads, white fish, seafood, and seafood rice dishes.
