Llicorella Clàssic
The Llicorella Clàssic is a wine that emerges from the pure essence of the slate soils, locally known as "llicorella," in the heart of Priorat. In appearance, it presents an intense and deep cherry red color with garnet edges that denote its excellent structure. On the nose, it is an explosion of typicity where ripe black fruit and hints of fig intertwine with notes of Mediterranean herbs like thyme and rosemary, over an unmistakable mineral and ferrous background. On the palate, it stands out for its balanced power and its mature, well-integrated tannins. Its mouthfeel is dense and structured, yet with a freshness that gives it a surprising elegance. It is a persistent wine, with a long aftertaste that leaves memories of licorice and black stone, faithfully representing the untamed and sophisticated character of the Porrera vineyards.
