Superbloom Red is an innovative wine crafted by Oller del Mas under the Celler de Bellaserra project. This wine seeks to explore the possibilities of indigenous varieties through minimal intervention winemaking techniques, using Picapoll Negre, Picapoll Blanc, and Garnatxa Negra. The production process involves light contact with the skins for 15 days and spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel tanks for 30 days, without the addition of sulfites. Afterward, the wine rests on its lees for six months, with weekly batonnage, enriching its complexity and depth without losing freshness. On the nose, it offers a pronounced aromatic profile with notes of blueberries, fresh red fruit, and hints of nuts and wild yeasts. On the palate, it is broad and fresh, with a vibrant acidity that adds dynamism. This wine is perfect for pairing with tapas, cured meats, rice dishes, and Mediterranean plates, highlighting its identity and winemaking potential of the Pla de Bages.
