At Naturuel Gourmet, they do something that very few can say: they control the entire process from day one. The grain that feeds their pigs is grown by them in fields in the province of Teruel, with their own varieties of wheat, barley, triticale, and corn. With that grain, they produce their own feed, specifically formulated for each stage of the animal. And it all happens in Teruel, without leaving the province. This closed and transparent chain is the reason why their meat tastes different: because they know exactly what each animal has eaten, from the first grain to the last day.
The result of that extreme care is exceptional quality white pork, protected by the Protected Geographical Indication Cerdo de Teruel and by the regulations of the Protected Designation of Origin Jamón y Paleta de Teruel. Their catalog features the best from each animal: noble cuts such as the Tomahawk Crown, the secreto, the presa, the tenderloin, or the emblematic Chuleta 915 Madurada —a proprietary cut that elevates the aging of white pork to a level previously reserved for other meats—, along with artisanal products like longaniza, chorizo, and gourmet burgers with truffle or ham.
But Naturuel does not stop there. What started as a production model has become a completely circular cycle: the organic fertilizer generated by the animals returns to the fields as natural fertilizer, closing the cycle without waste. Their farms operate on thermal biomass energy and certified green energy. It is not a statement of intentions or a marketing label: it is the architecture of their entire production system, designed from the outset to waste nothing and to give back to the territory what the territory gives them.
In a market where traceability is often a promise, at Naturuel Gourmet it is a verifiable reality step by step: from the farmer who sows the grain to the cut that arrives at the table. This radical transparency, combined with the unique character of the Teruel mountains —its altitude, its extreme climate, its pastures—, produces meat with a unique and unrepeatable identity. It is not just pork. It is, perhaps, the most honest in the market.
