The 1413 Disznókó Tokaji Édes Szamorodni 2021 represents an authentic and traditional expression of Tokaj wines. The term Szamorodni, derived from the Polish "as it comes," refers to the production from bunches that contain both healthy and Botrytis-affected grapes. The 2021 vintage was exceptional for sweet Tokaj wines, thanks to a warm summer followed by a cool autumn that allowed for a slow, controlled evolution of botrytis. On the nose, it features intense aromas of ripe pear, pineapple, apricot, citrus, honey, and wildflowers, enriched with hints of vanilla and sweet spices. On the palate, it is silky and fresh, with perfect harmony between fruit concentration and vibrant acidity, characteristic of the Furmint variety. Its finish is long and elegant, typical of the great botrytized wines of the region.
