Amontillado 1822 Reserva de Familia is one of the most emblematic wines from the Herederos de Argüeso winery, located in Sanlúcar de Barrameda since 1822. This wine is the result of a long biological aging process that is typical of the finest manzanillas and continues with an extensive oxidative aging in ancient amontillado barrels after the natural disappearance of the flor veil. This process results in a wine of great complexity and elegance, regarded as a classic reference in the region. The blending of both aging methods preserves the freshness of the manzanilla and the richness of the amontillado. On the nose, it presents aromas of dried fruits, toasted hazelnuts, and iodine notes, while on the palate it is dry, enveloping, and elegant, with a silky texture and a long finish full of nuances, reflecting the unique essence of the great sanluqueños amontillados.
