Artuke Finca de los Locos 2022 is a craft wine created in an inhospitable terroir in the D.O. Ca. La Rioja. This wine, a blend of 80% Tempranillo and 20% Graciano, comes from an upper plot of the Ebro River at about 550 meters elevation, where sandy and calcareous soil favors unique characteristics in the grapes. The planting of this vineyard in 1981 was considered madness due to adverse growing conditions, giving it a distinctive character. Traditional vinification coupled with 16 months of aging in new French oak barrels enhances its typicity. It's a perfect wine to enjoy alone or paired with meat dishes, emphasizing its complexity and originality.
