Baigorri Crianza 2021 is a modern expression of Rioja Alavesa, produced by Bodegas Baigorri. This wine is primarily made with Tempranillo grapes, complemented by Garnacha and other local varieties. The vineyards are located in clay-calcareous soils under the Sierra Cantabria, and the grapes are carefully hand-picked. After fermentation with native yeasts in stainless steel tanks and oak tubs, the wine is aged for 14 months in French and American oak barrels, adding complexity without masking the fruity character. Aromas of ripe fruits, plums, and blackberries intertwine with spices, dairy, and cocoa, while on the palate it is flavorful and silky, with a perfect balance of fruit and wood. The finish is long and persistent. Ideal for pairing with white meats, light game, and traditional stew dishes. Serve between 14 and 16 ºC.
