Champagne Franck Bonville "Unisson" is a Champagne from the AOC Champagne (France) produced by Maison Franck Bonville , a family winery located in Avize, on the Côte des Blancs , a historic area known for its great Chardonnay. This is a Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru cuvée, made exclusively with 100% Chardonnay from vineyards classified as Grand Cru in the village of Avize itself.
This champagne is non-vintage (no vintage) and is made from an assemblage of different vintages , usually two complementary vintages. Vinification is carried out in stainless steel tanks with malolactic fermentation , and the wine is aged for approximately 4-5 years on the lees in the bottle before disgorgement. Its dosage is around 5-6.7 g/L , which places it in an Extra Brut or very dry Brut style.
The nose presents elegant aromas of ripe white fruit, white flowers and brioche , accompanied by notes of butter, almond and mineral nuances typical of the limestone soils of the Côte des Blancs. The palate is fresh and creamy , with fine bubbles, good acidity and a long finish with a subtle saline character.
An elegant and gastronomic champagne, ideal both as an aperitif and as an accompaniment to seafood, fish or sushi.
