Doix 2018 is one of the most representative wines of Celler Mas Doix , a winery located in the village of Poboleda, in the heart of the Priorat. It comes from very old vineyards grown on steep slate slopes, the well-knowncosters de llicorella, which give the wine its characteristic mineral character and great concentration.

It is made from a blend of Carignan and Grenache from these historic vineyards. After careful selection of the grapes and fermentation by parcels, the wine is aged for 16 months in French oak barrels , where it develops depth and complexity without losing the identity of the vineyard.

The nose shows great aromatic intensity, with ripe black fruit, floral notes and spicy nuances , accompanied by a mineral background very characteristic of the Priorat. The palate is powerful, elegant and structured , with firm tannins and a long, persistent finish. A wine of great personality, ideal to accompany red meats, game or cured cheeses.
