Dominio de Es Carravilla 2020 is an exceptional red wine from the D.O. Ribera del Duero , made by French winemaker Bertrand Sourdais in his Dominio de Es project, located in the Soria area of Atauta. This wine comes from a very small plot of just 0.27 hectares , planted with Tinto Fino (Tempranillo) and a small proportion of Albillo , at an altitude of over 900 meters above sea level. Production is extremely limited - barely enough to fill a few barrels - which makes Carravilla one of the winery's most exclusive productions.

The nose offers intense aromas of ripe red fruit accompanied by spicy notes, cocoa and delicate nuances of aging , which add depth and complexity. The palate is powerful but elegant , with a fleshy and silky texture, well-integrated tannins and a great concentration of fruit that extends into a long and persistent finish.

It is a wine of great personality and remarkable cellaring capacity , ideal to accompany red meats, game or haute cuisine dishes , and accurately reflects the character of the high altitude vineyards of the Ribera del Duero in Soria. A very limited production that makes it a particularly appreciated piece by collectors and lovers of singular wines.
