Coren Selecta is a range of products that has its origin in the project presented in 2018 carried out between the Galician cooperative group Coren and the company La Selva , a joint project for the industrial and commercial development of chestnut-fed pork meat products , the result of a collaboration agreement between the two companies.This range of Coren Selecta products is made with chestnut-fed pork meats from the Coren Group and following the traditional process of La Selva. Among the products that make up the Coren Selecta range are cooked ham, baked pork shoulder , the quality of the raw material and the production process mark the differences between the traditional cooked ham and turkey sausages.The ham for the elaboration of Coren Selecta is a ham of special breed, breeding and feeding from whose process a special product is obtained, with a soft and distinct palate contributed in great part by the feeding of the animal with chestnuts.the chestnut and the toasted colors give us the tone of the product: the way the base of the pieces is drawn alludes to the chestnut.
