A Pinot Noir from Jerez, planted in 2017 on Albariza soils in Almocaden, a small Jerez pago located between two giants such as Macharnudo and Carrascal, has given rise to this Le Fleq Pinot Noir, a wine handcrafted by Jerez-born Flequi Berruti, partner and co-owner of La Tintorería Vinoteca in Madrid and one of those responsible for the distributor Alma Vinos Únicos. The plot of the so-called Viña de Robin, with young Pinot de Noir planted in 2015, barely gives him enough to make about 1100 bottles of a wine that has spent six months in two French oak barrels. It is still a rich but surprising Pinot Noir - when they tell you, it's not Burgundy, it's Jerez, where the Albariza in the vineyard and minimal intervention in the cellar do the rest.
