LeDomaine Blanco de Guarda 2023 is the flagship white wine of Abadía Retuerta, renowned for its quality and elegant flavor, sourced from the exclusive DOP Abadía Retuerta in Sardón de Duero. This wine, designed as a true aging white, primarily combines Sauvignon Blanc with a significant proportion of Verdejo. It comes from vineyards located on cool north-facing slopes, cultivated in sandy and stony soils that promote better ripening and complexity. The manual harvest is carefully executed, and the production process uses selected techniques to preserve the wine's purity and aromatic complexity. Part of the fermentation occurs in French oak barrels, adding depth. Afterward, the wine matures for 5 to 7 months on its lees, gaining volume and texture without sacrificing freshness.
