M de Murua 2019 is an exceptional red wine from the DOCa Rioja, developed by Bodegas Murua, part of the prestigious Masaveu group, in the picturesque town of Elciego. This wine is made from a unique 100% Tempranillo, sourced from very selected vineyards, some over 60 to 70 years old. The production of this wine is limited, as it is only made in years of high quality. Fermentation takes place in concrete tanks, followed by careful aging of approximately 18 months in new French oak barrels. This meticulous process contributes to the wine's depth and complexity. The result is a modern and elegant Rioja that combines concentration and freshness. On the nose, the wine reveals an intense array of aromas of red and black fruits with floral notes, subtle spices, and delicate toasting flavors. On the palate, it is velvety, with a broad and balanced body, fine tannins, culminating in a long and persistent finish.
