Milsetentayseis Tinto 2020 is a wine from the D.O. Ribera del Duero produced by Bodegas Milsetentayseis , a project of Alma Carraovejas. Its name refers to the average altitude of the vineyards (1,076 meters), located in the Fuentenebro area (Burgos) , where the altitude conditions provide freshness, concentration and slower ripening of the grapes. It is made mainly with Tinto Fino (Tempranillo) from old vineyards grown in poor, stony soils.

The grapes are harvested by hand with a rigorous selection of the grapes and vinification is carried out with spontaneous fermentation. The wine is then aged for about 18 months in French oak barrels and foudres , seeking a balance between fruit, elegance and expression of the vineyard.

The nose is deep and complex, with aromas of ripe red and black fruit, floral notes and delicate spicy and mineral nuances. The palate is balanced and elegant, with fine tannins, good freshness and a long, lingering finish. A refined Ribera del Duero with great personality, ideal to accompany red meats, game or traditional dishes.
