Palacio de Bornos Sauvignon Blanc 2024 is a white wine from D.O. Rueda made by Bodegas Palacio de Bornos from 100% Sauvignon Blanc. The grapes come from vineyards located in Rueda, Pollos and La Seca, at an altitude of over 700 meters above sea level, where the continental climate favors a balanced ripening and a great aromatic expression. The grapes are harvested at night to preserve the freshness of the fruit and the wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature.
In the glass it has a bright pale yellow color. On the nose, it stands out for its aromatic intensity, with notes of tropical fruit, herbaceous hints and delicate floral nuances , very characteristic of the variety. The palate is fresh and balanced, with good acidity, a savory passage and a clean and persistent finish that reinforces its varietal character.
An aromatic and very versatile white, ideal to accompany fish, seafood, cold soups, pâtés or semi-cured cheeses , and perfect to enjoy as an aperitif or with light, Mediterranean cuisine.
