Protos 27 Crianza 2021 Magnum 1.5L is one of the most emblematic wines of Bodegas Protos, paying tribute to the first vintage marketed in 1927 and to the founders of the winery. Made exclusively from Tinta del País (Tempranillo) from selected vineyards in Ribera del Duero, the wine undergoes a prolonged aging process. This includes 12 months in French and American oak barrels, followed by two more years in bottle, totaling three years before commercialization. Its aromas include blackberry, ripe plum, and black cherry, with notes of vanilla and sweet spices. On the palate, it is flavorful and balanced, with round tannins and a long finish. The 1.5L Magnum format allows for a more complex evolution, offering a refined version of the classic Ribera del Duero style.
