Quinta de Couselo Blanco Rosal 2024 is a white wine from the D.O. Rías Baixas , produced by Bodegas Quinta de Couselo in the subzone of O Rosal (Pontevedra). It is produced from a blend of Albariño (approx. 85%), Loureiro (10%) and Caiño Blanco (5%) , traditional varieties of the area that provide freshness, aromatic complexity and a marked Atlantic character.
The grapes are harvested by hand and, after a gentle maceration and pressing, the must ferments at a controlled temperature to preserve the varietal aromas. Subsequently, the wine remains on its fine lees for about 6 months , which provides greater volume in the mouth and complexity without losing its characteristic freshness.
The nose presents aromas of white fruit and citrus with floral and herbaceous notes , accompanied by a mineral background. The palate is fresh, balanced and with good acidity , with a long finish where citrus and saline nuances appear, very typical of Rosal wines.
